
Rashica Coakley
A proud native of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, Rashica has more than 33 years of experience in hospitality, taking pride in creating memorable moments for both guests and coworkers. She loves living in Charleston for its rich culture and genuine Southern hospitality. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and preserving tradition through the art of sweetgrass basket weaving.
Gabby Martin
Gabby has been working for Charming Inns since February of 2023 and has been in hospitality for more than a decade. Gabby was born in Buffalo, New York, but her parents moved back to Charleston area when she was six months old—she has been here ever since. Gabby’s favorite part of her job is being able to talk one-on-one with the guests and her coworkers. History and ghosts tours are her favorites parts of living in Charleston!
Jim O'Neill
Jim has been working for Charming Inns for just over 8.5 years and has been in the hospitality industry on and off since he was 19 years old. Jim was born in Boston, MA and has lived in NY, FL, CA, Ireland, Spain, Italy, and San Juan PR. He moved to Charleston over 9 years ago. Jim loves working at John Rutledge House because of the history and the amazing staff and guests. In his free time, he enjoys hiking and camping with his dog—and when he can—art, photography, and massage therapy. He also loves to do anything in or around the water in Charleston. Jim considers himself an open book and enjoys sharing about his life with others.
John Duncan
John has been working for Charming Inns for almost three years and has been in the hospitality industry for 40 years. He moved to Charleston 25 years ago from Kansas City, MO. John’s favorite part of working at Charming Inns is his love of meeting people from all parts of the world and telling them about the “charms” of Charleston. In his free time, John works out of his home as an artist.
